important information: pay attention to the seams!
For quilting, we use high-tenacity threads, selected to ensure high resistance to daily wear and tear. However, as with any decorative raised stitching, it's important to consider that the thread remains exposed on the saddle's surface.
For this reason, frequent or particularly intense rubbing caused by zippers, studs, rivets, rigid protections or other elements present on technical clothing can, over time, cause signs of wear or damage the quilting.
This is a characteristic related to the type of workmanship and not a product defect. With normal use and proper care, the quilting will maintain its appearance and functionality over time.
Tip: To best preserve the saddle's finish, we recommend avoiding prolonged rubbing with metal or particularly abrasive elements.
the quilted seat covers
are they waterproof?
In most cases, to create a fully waterproof quilted seat cover, we require the physical saddle to be sent. This allows us to perform specific processes that ensure the best possible water protection.
When quilting is possible without a physical saddle, the seat cover cannot be considered 100% waterproof. In these cases, we still apply a special protective material to the inside that limits water absorption and protects the padding, but a small amount of water seepage through the seams may still occur.
In either case, if the seat cover gets wet, we recommend letting it air dry completely before using the motorcycle again or storing it.
If the seat cover is supplied without assembly at our premises, the customer can use it as is or provide additional waterproofing of the saddle themselves if they require additional protection against water.
